Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Amenities in Indiana
Why stay in a traditional campground or RV park when you can stay in the ultimate family camping destination? Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ features the best amenities for the entire family no matter whether you choose to stay in a cabin, RV, or a tent.
When you stay at the Lake Monroe Jellystone Park in Bloomington, Indiana, your family can enjoy the following amenities:
Why settle for one swimming pool when you can have two? Our main pool is a great place for kids and parents to cool off and our kiddie pool is perfect for young children. The kiddie pool has its own small water play area with a giant mushroom that dumps water and a gentle hippo that sprays water from its mouth. Parents can relax on lounge chairs and watch the little ones splash around while the big kids visit our giant splashground
Ever wonder what would happen if you made a pillow so giant that you could run, jump, and tumble on it with all of your friends and family? Well, wonder no more. Our jumping pillow has to be seen – and jumped on – to believe. Everyone from toddlers to grandparents can jump until their hearts are content.
Hey Boo Boo™! What’s the best way to travel around Jellystone Park™? Why in a Hey Wagon of course. Keep a watchful eye on your pic-a-nic baskets while boarding because you never know when one (or more) of your favorite bears will be joining you on the ride.
In the summer, the Hey Wagon becomes the wet and wild Hey Wagon. But, don’t worry. You can use your squirt guns and fire back. What’s fair is fair.
Playground and Sandbox
Technology is great but nothing beats an old fashioned playground. Kids can run, climb, and slide until their hearts are content in this fun-filled area. There’s even a rubber surface under the equipment to keep the landing soft in case anyone takes a little tumble. There’s a sandbox next to the playground so be sure to bring your pails, digging tools, and dump trucks. And yes, there’s a nearby bench for parents to sit and relax when they need a break.
Gaga Ball is a game that’s played in an octagonal Gaga Pit. Players can only hit the ball with their arms and try to get the other players in the Pit out by hitting them with the ball below their knees. The ball can bounce off any wall and is always in play so you never know where it’s going to go next. Stay ready.
Trails & Waterfall
Our Jellystone Park™ location has great amenities but we also have great access to nature. Take a stroll along our walking trails and you’ll have the opportunity to see a variety of birds and woodland creatures tucked among the trees.
If you’re visiting us in the Spring, be sure to visit our scenic waterfall for a great photo opp. Please note that unfortunately the waterfall does tend to dry up during the summer months.
